Please Welcome The All New 200-400mm f.4
If you have not heard, Canon has announced their highly anticipated super telephoto lens that has been rumoured about on pretty much every online forum for years! Finally, they have delivered a 200-400mm f4.0 L Series IS USM lens which will be challenging Nikon’s own 200-400 f/4 VR II with Drop in Filters, which I believe the Canon 200-400mm does not have (instead opting for the screw on filters). This lens will be replacing many 100-400mm Canon Push-Pull lenses currently owned. Now to bump up the competition, Canon has included a built in 1.4x teleconverter! This may be used by flipping a small lever on the left hand side, and is secured with a small locking switch so you don’t end up bumping it while trekking through the forest or rough shooting conditions. How awesome is that! Now I suppose it will come down to price… so start saving your pennies now!
